IMPROVE YOUR SCHOOLS 4 PLUS WITH OUR CPD

 We have a range of services for schools to help them with their 4 Plus programmes. This is based on our extensive range of experience developing 4 Plus programmes. These services are suitable for those schools who are looking to introduce the 4 Plus for the first time, or who are looking to refresh their approach, or who are just looking for some CPD to upskill their staff in the latest thinking. 

 We can work with your school to develop a testing process which blends the Early Years National Curriculum objectives with your own schools needs. In particular, we work with you to help you select children which match the values of your school. We pay careful attention to creating a class with a mix of child all of whom can succeed in the school. Our focus is on the 4 Plus Pillars and on measures of readiness for school. 

We have extensive partnerships with Cambridge University for Mathematics and Language testing and Motor Skills testing and with Oxford University for Communication, Speech and Language testing. These tests are standardised and adaptive. However, we have gone beyond them and have an extensive proprietary database which allows schools to measure their applicants against other children in the 4 Plus programme. We additionally, have tracking data which measures subsequent attainment in InCas and other standardised testing. Additionally, we have developed Phonics testing suitable for different ages and Numeracy testing. We are also have a partnership with Oxford University to do language screening to assess Communication, Speech and Language attainment. Again we have the experience of using this in a 4 Plus assessment environment and our own database for comparison. 

We have experience running many CPD session for schools. These are often conducted just before the assessment season. We share with your staff the latest approaches that different schools are using and explore why. We also run a workshop to help you either improve your existing 4 Plus assessment or to train your own staff in how to better assess within your existing structure. The sessions are run by our own qualified team of teachers and our analytics team. 

We have a full time team of senior teachers with experience of the 4 Plus of creating 4 Plus programmes, and developing CPD for teachers to prepare them for or upskill them for the 4 Plus. We have, for example, experience of running over a dozen CPD sessions for teachers on the 4 Plus. We have developed multiple different 4 Plus assessments over four years.
