Our company is one of the most successful tutoring agencies and we remain so by being focused on 4 Plus and 7 Plus. We are the team that created the UK’s first 4 Plus programme, for example, and we have our own pedagogical approach to 7 Plus. This is the reason for our successful result.
Our History
Our team were originally part of the award winning Mentor Education. When Mentor closed, we set up a new business focused on 4 Plus and 7 Plus.
Our leadership team are parents who have walked in your shoes or educators who have a track record of success.
We help around 100 4 Plus children per year and around 50 7 Plus children per year.
Our results are industry leading which is why parents come back to us with their siblings; why they stay with us through multiple exam cycles; and why we have won so many awards.
Our Teachers and Pedagogy
Our teachers are experienced teachers from leading private schools (all through and prep schools). They understand the entrance exam process because they have been through it or written the assessment / exam papers themselves.
We supplement this with our own pedagogy which is designed to accelerate knowledge acquisition for children.
We do not give you a tutor and leave you to it. Rather you are a part of a holistic programme. Your child’s progress is constantly monitored and managed centrally with a team of experts.
Our Philosophy
We believe that parents need to be involved in the educational process. That is why we teach parents how to teach their children rather than just teaching the children ourselves. We democratise learning.
We are unashamedly data and evidence led. We do extensive standardised testing and share the results with parents. Where others use anecdote, we use data.
We are also very honest and straightforward with parents. Schools sugarcoat messaging; but we pay parents the respect of honesty about where their child is at and what needs to happen.
