Assessment Programme Design

We work with your school to develop a testing process that blends the Early Years National Curriculum objectives with your own school’s needs and values. We help you design selection criteria that identify children who will thrive in your environment and create a balanced cohort where every child can succeed. Our focus is on the 4 Plus Pillars and on robust measures of readiness for school.

Standardised Testing and Data Analysis

We have partnerships with Cambridge University for mathematics, language and motor skills testing, and with Oxford University for communication, speech and language assessment. These tests are standardised and adaptive. We also maintain a proprietary database that allows schools to measure their applicants against other children in 4 Plus programmes across London, and we have tracking data that measures subsequent attainment in InCAS and other standardised tests. We have developed our own phonics and numeracy testing suitable for different ages, all validated through real-world use in assessment environments.

Teacher Training and CPD Sessions

We run CPD sessions for schools, typically scheduled just before the assessment season. These sessions share the latest approaches that different schools are using and explore why certain methodologies work better than others. We run workshops to help you improve your existing 4 Plus assessment or to train your staff in how to assess more effectively within your current structure. All sessions are delivered by our qualified team of teachers and our analytics team.
